Sweet Potato Tikki


Sweet Potato Tikki is a tasty & filling recipe prepared during fasting days like Shranvan, Navratri, Shivratri. It is very nutritious specially for kids. Sweet potato, peanuts, water chestnut flour(singhara atta), rock salt are main ingredients.



Sweet Potato Tikki


Sweet potato tikki is also known as Shakarkand ki tikki. It is very easy to prepare & doesn't required much time & efforts.



Recipe:


Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 20 mins
Serve : 10-12 tikki

Ingredients:


3-4 boiled sweet potatoes
2-3 tbsp water chestnut flour(singhara atta)
1-2 green chilies chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
1/2 tsp cumin seeds 
2 tbsp peanut powder
1 tsp dry mango powder (amchoor powder)
1 tbsp oil/ghee
Rock salt to taste

Method:


1. In a mixing bowl mash sweet potatoes. 

2. Now add water chestnut flour, green chilies, lemon juice, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, 
    peanut powder, dry mango powder & rock salt.

3. Mix it well & divide it into equal portions. 

4. Now grease your palms with oil/ghee, take one portion & give it the shape of tikki.

5.  Heat oil/ghee in a pan, shallow fry the tikkis until golden brown on both sides.
6. Sweet potato tikki is ready, serve hot with green chutney.

Veg Cheese Pizza is a very colorful, delicious snack recipe. Bursting with flavours  this awesome recipe is a good way to eat fresh vegetables...... Lot of fresh vegetables, cheese, pizza bread and spices are the main ingredients. Kids love pizza & now a days pizza is a must in kid's various functions, parties.....so lets make veg cheese pizza !!!


Veg Cheese Pizza


Ingredients:


2-3 pizza bread
2 medium size capsicum chopped
2 tomato chopped
2 carrot chopped
1 cup sweet corn 
1-2 tsp chili flacks
1-2 Italian mix herbs 
Grated cheese as required
1/2 cup pizza sauce

Method:


1.Take a pizza bread, spread pizza sauce over it.

2. Sprinkle grated cheese.

3. Now arrange the capsicum, tomato, carrot, sweet corn kernels on it.

4. Sprinkle chili flacks, herbs over it.

5. Bake the pizza in a preheated oven for 15-20 mins at 200 degrees C.

6. Take out the baked pizza from oven, garnish with grated cheese
    (optional) & serve hot.

Cold coffee is the perfect drink for hot summer days.Making cold coffee is simple, quick & easy. You just need milk, coffee powder, sugar & ice cubes.mix all these together and blend....refreshing cold coffee is ready.


Cold Coffee


Ingredients:


4 cups chilled milk
4 tbsp coffee powder
4 tsp sugar
5-6 ice cubs
1/2 cup lukewarm water
Chocolate sauce for decoration


Method:


1. Combine lukewarm water, coffee powder in a bowl & mix well.

2. In a mixer jar add milk, sugar, ice cubs, coffee water mixture & blend on high speed 
   till smooth & frothy.

3. Now take a tall glass, keep it in freezer for 8-10 sec.

4. Take out the glass from freezer, pour the chocolate sauce on the sides of the glass while
    rotating it to form a design of your choice & keep it again in freezer for few sec.

5. Repeat the same process for other glasses.

6. Now remove glasses from freezer, pour the blended coffee in it.

7. Cold Coffee is ready to serve.

Bread dahi vada is a quick, easy, yummy & instant version of the original dal vadas.
This tongue tickling snack requires no soaking or frying, you just need some common
ingredients which are easily available at home. Bread cover with creamy yogurt topping,
sweet chutney, green chutney and some spices.This mouth watering and delicious recipe can serve as a snacks, breakfast, side dish. It is a good and quick snack for Diwali, Holi or for kids.


Bread Dahi Vada


Ingredients:


3-4 bread slices cut in circle 
1 cup chilled yogurt
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp red chili powder  
1 tsp roasted cumin powder 
1 tsp chat masala
1 tbsp coriander leaves
1/2 cup boondi as required
Green chutney as required
Sweet chutney as required
Water as required
1 tsp salt

Method:


1. Take yogurt in bowl whisk it well, add salt, sugar, cumin powder, some water in it 
     and mix. keep it aside.

2. In a serving plate spread 1-2 tbsp of yogurt, place a rounded bread slice in plate.

3. Pour 1 tbsp of yogurt on bread, also add some green & sweet chutney.

4. Sprinkle some salt, red chili powder, chat masala on the bread.

5. Top it with some boondi.

6. Now cover it with another slice of bread.

7. Pour 2-3 tbsp yogurt on bread also add green chutney & sweet chutney.

8. Sprinkle roasted cumin powder, chat masala, red chili powder, salt.

9. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves, boondi .

10. Serve immediately.

Ingredients:


1 cop khoya
1/2 cup almond powder
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 cup powdered sugar
4-5 tsp milk

Method:


1. Heat khoya in a pan for 5-7 mins.

2. Keep it aside & let it cool.

3. Now add almond powder, cocoa powder, sugar, milk to khoya, mix it well.

4. Divide the batter into equal portions.

5. Now make a boll of each portion.

6. Flattten the ball a bit with fingers. 

7. Now cut it with the help of heart shaped mould. Repeat the
    same with remaining portions.

8. Choco hearts are ready for Valentine Day.
