Ingredients:


 2 bunch spinach (palak) 
 200 gm paneer (cottage cheese)
 2 onion medium size chopped
 1-2 tomatoes chopped
 2 tsp red chili powder 
 Quarter tsp turmeric powder
 1 tsp garlic chopped 
 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 
 1 tsp garam masala powder 
1 tsp coriander powder
 Pinch of asafoetida
 2 tbsp oil
 1 tbsp cream 
 1/2 tsp salt


Method:


1. Remove stems, wash spinach thoroughly in running water.

2. Blanch in  boiling water for some time & wash it with cold water
    to keep its green color intact.

3. Grind spinach into a fine paste, cut paneer into pieces.

4. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds. When they crackle, add  garlic & sauté for some
     time.

5. Add chopped onions & stir until they turn golden brown.

6. Now add  tomatoes & stir till the tomatoes become soft, now add asafoetida, red chili
    powder,
turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt & garam masala & mix it well.

7.Add spinach puree & stir for some time, Now add paneer & mix well

8. Now pour some cream in it mix well & switch off the heat.

9. Serve hot with roti, naan,rice.
